Primo is a handsome buckskin gelding with previous barrel racing stats in Texas and the athleticism, mind, and pedigree to be a competitive horse again with the right program.

He is kind, easy to handle, hauls well, stands tied, and is a pleasure to have around the barn. He has a big personality and all the qualities to make someone a very nice performance horse.

Due to my current goals and lack of time to dedicate to a rehabilitation program, I’ve decided to offer him for sale. He is priced to reflect his current situation, creating an opportunity for the right person.

Primo has undergone a complete veterinary workup and is currently on a maintenance program for cervical arthritis, his back, hocks, and stifles. Imaging and treatment records are available, and his veterinarian is happy to discuss his case with serious buyers.

He is currently hesitant to finish the second barrel in exhibition settings but will confidently work the pattern at home. Because of this, I believe he would benefit from time away from barrel racing and could excel as a rope horse, pole horse, ranch horse, ranch riding prospect, or other performance horse while being brought back along.

He has plenty of talent left for someone who understands maintenance horses and is willing to give him the time and program he deserves.
