If you are looking for a seasoned barrel AND pole horse, you need to check this guy out! First Down Dirty is a beautiful 9 year old gray gelding that is as consistent as they come! He has run in every arena imaginable from coliseums to outdoor pens and he runs the same every time. He is a consistent 20-21 second pole horse and 2/3D barrel horse at the big shows with the potential to do more. He doesn’t cheat, he doesn’t shy and he is not a barrel hitter, just point and kick! Hauls great, ties out, eats, drinks and lays down at shows – even if hauled by himself. Been there, done that but hasn’t has his legs ran off. He can be lazy at home, but will get on the muscle in the alley, nothing bad, not out of control, just ready to go! Will walk in flat footed with a calming past, but I rarely use it. Rides alone at home just fine, trail rides and is not buddy/barn sour. No vices, does not crib or weave. Stands for the farrier, UTD on vaccines, wormer, teeth, shoeing and chiro. Had his hocks and stifles injected for the first time last year as maintenance. Like most horses, he does have a few minor quirks that I will discuss with serious buyers. Nothing horrible.
