“Lupe” is a 2018 mare that was an exceptional barrel horse whose futurity year was cut short due to an injury to her foot - cut out in the field. Lupe was one of the best horses I’ve ever ridden, smart, super willing, puppy dog personality, loves people, incredibly fast, and could cut back on a barrel, especially for how big she is! I have videos of her winning jackpots in South MS against stiff competition. She was going to be great. We tried to bring her back to competition multiple times, but when a setback due to a deep abscess came up, we decided to just breed her and have exceptional babies out of her. Bred to ASNY, took on the first try. Never had a single issue. Woke up almost exactly one year later to a beautiful filly stamped exactly like her standing next to her in the field. She’s been an incredible mother to a strong, perfect, correct filly that will be big & beautiful just like her momma. Lupe is a big mare at 15.3 hands and as wide as she is tall. Eats everything in sight and is an easy keeper. Bred her back to Blazzin the Way for 2027, took on the first try and confirmed in foal at 30 days on March 30, 2026. He’s HOT right now.
