Sampson (15.2) is a mix of ranchy, fancy, & personable w/ many skills: ranch work, trail riding, & foxhunting. Sampson is Ranching Heritage bred, offering opportunities of extra eligibility for competitions & trail events. He exemplifies where AQHA started! He's experienced at doctoring cattle, sorting in alleys, penning back at the sale barn, gathering in big pastures, & loading cattle trucks. Under English tack he's enjoyed days of foxhunting, hunter pace, and XC events. He confidently crosses water, bridges, brush, bogs, & logs. He remains calm & composed around dogs & traffic. Drag a tarp, sled, or log- push a ball- pack a flag- enjoy a breeze from a leaf blower- he takes it all in stride. He lopes collected on either lead & has a nice stop. He's light without being overly sensitive. He'll side pass and lay down!
