Jackson is a 15-year-old gelding. He’s a free runner. He competes in major rodeo shows — music, crowds, bulls, etc. — and handles it all with ease. No issues entering the alley; in fact, he’s sometimes a bit too eager. He has a very long stride, so even when he doesn’t look like he’s running hard, he still clocks good times. He’s got the heart of a warrior. This horse has taught me so much. He needs someone who knows how to understand and manage him. He has no vices. He wasn’t herd-bound before coming to me, but has become a bit attached here. He’s affectionate and full of personality. He’s had 1 to 3 check-ups a year with a sports vet and has been well maintained. He tends to lose a bit of weight in the spring. He has a racy build so he'll never be super bulky. He ties to the trailer or to cross tie. Loads well. Good with farrier.
